In addition to his work as a designer and researcher, Christian is in charge of the Industrial Design department at The Monterrey Center for Higher Learning of Design (Spanish: CEDIM, Centro de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey Design), a university dedicated to design, innovation, and business, where contributes to the formation and dissemination of design in Mexico.
With an academic experience focused in Semiotics & Design languages, Emotional Design, Human-centered Design and Cultural studies, Christian teaches courses focused on understanding the relationship between the user, society and design.
In their quest to reinvent the creative education and pedagogical models that encourage, © CEDIM has been selected as a case study by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), as one of the most innovative learning environments around the globe.

© CEDIM Industrial Design Department focuses on training designers with a high humanist sense, entrepreneurs and competitive internationally. Department graduates have a thinker and maker profile, focusing on the constant pursuit of design challenges, capable to take a flexible and adaptable approach to the circumstances and respond to complex design problems.
The Industrial Design Department explores and develops projects for different industries and productive sectors such as Entertainment, Sport and Leisure, Cooking and food, home and office, urban space and public lighting, Social Innovation and Electronic devices for companies involved in the most important industries in Mexico and the world.
